In the FDI attractiveness reports Poland keeps ranking amongst the top 3 destinations. Availability of state aid for investments is one of the factors of Poland’s magnetism. Among the investment incentives are: investment grants for R&D activities, tax allowances for acquisition of new technologies and for R&D centres, tax exemptions, technology parks offering infrastructure etc. Special Economic Zones are a significant part of the scheme aiming at attracting Foreign Direct Investments, particularly to the underdeveloped regions.
